It's officially Spring and we aren't 'April Fooling' around with our Instructional Basketball & training scheduling for the start of the official 'skill improvement' season. We're excited to be able to see all of our past and new HoopKidz/HoopElite trainees in our various upcoming programs again. We just started our Spring Instructional League on April 3rd and we begin a new HoopKidz Thursday session on April 8th. Still not registered? Go to the website to do so today! ... We're back in the Gym for Individual and Small Group Skill Instruction & Training! Call for details and schedule. This year, we've got tremendous demand for limited time, so get your scheduling in with us early... All three HoopKidz who advanced to the iHoops Skills Challenge Regionals in Manassas, VA placed Second on March 27th. Great effort, Kids! In our Thoughts & Prayers this edition, our hearts are saddened by the passing of Ms. Diana Gaither, Coach/HK Director, Guy Nelson's Mom. We'll always remember and celebrate her support of her Sons and extended family... Our condolences to long-time Friend of the program, Patrick Sutton & family on the loss of his Mother...Charlotte Robinson, recovering from recent hospital stay-Get well soon, Mrs. Ann Batten, Mrs. Ellis, Tyrena Spry, Denise Reed, Wendy Smith,William Cole, Samuel Yette, In Loving Memory- Wayne Reed, Anisa Dade, Ms. Alice Tennille, and Mr. & Mrs. Roscoe and Dorothy Banks...


Congrats to Nolan Smith(Duke) , John Flowers(WVU), Maurice Sutton(Villanova), Givon Crump(Baylor), all local kids on their schools run in this year's NCAA Tourney. Congrats are also in order for 2010 Women's Ivy League Player of Year, Columbia's Judie Lomax(Bullis, DC native). Judie also lead the College ranks this year in Rebounding... Bowie's Ben Hazel (Good Counsel) to Princeton on full Basketball scholarship, Ahmad George (Carroll) to Pace University on full Basketball scholarship... HoopKidz Summer Counselor, Ayjsa Smith(PGCC) was the JUCO 2nd leading scorer in the country this season, 26 ppg...Congrats to Cousin Rueben Frank to UConn on full Football scholarship...
